Here are three pieces from 2023 along with a recent painting. The previous three works show my early exploration of color within the grid format. Back then I could only juggle a few colors at once, and I even reduced my palette to just four colors to focus on optical effects of light, shadow, and transparency in various permutations. Lately I’ve figured out how to juggle more colors than before while generating the same optical effects in many compositional formats.
