My Reviser series grew out of Redivider and calls to mind QR codes and the classic video game, Tetris. As a kid I was more into comic books, which sparked my love of color, but comics, along with the rest of culture, during my childhood were taking on the same digital vibe as video games, which has only increased with the proliferation of screens. I think the shine from the varnish on my latest paintings mimics the glare from smart phones, televisions, and computers.
